Snapper Lures

Gone are the days when Snapper were only "bait and wait" fish. Modern Snapper fishing is all about the "Slow Drop" and the "Vibe." Our Snapper lure range is led by the incredibly versatile Ultimate Squid and the Curly Vibe 2.0.

Snapper Lure FAQs

The key is the "Slow Fall." Snapper often hit the lure as it’s sinking through the water column. Use a light enough head to let the Ultimate Squid "parachute" down. Give it a few soft lifts once it hits the bottom to let the tentacles do the work.

Vibes like the Curly Vibe 2.0 are excellent for "Searching" when you aren't exactly sure where the fish are sitting. They create a lot of noise and flash. Once you've located the school on your sounder, switching to a more realistic Paddle Bait or Ultimate Squid can often pick off the larger, more cautious fish.

Yes, it can. In shallow, clear water, natural "translucent" or "silver" patterns (like those in our Curly Vibe 2.0 range) are superior. In deeper water (30m+), light disappears, so switch to high-contrast colours like "Pink UV".
