What a lure, I picked up a Drunken Mullet in Tackle World and only because I was looking for something different to try other than what I am currently using for Papuan Black and Spotted Bass. We fished on Wahai on Seram Island in Indonesia for 5 days this month (August 2026). This lure is like no other for getting the attention of the bass. As time went on and on almost every cast we expected a explosion from striking bass. Unfortunately we only purchased one of the Drunken Mullet and after 2 days of being bashed around we uncovered a flaw in this lure and this was the front hook eye that was dislodged by the "power of bass". When I get back to Australia I will be stocking up for me and fishing partners. I suggest however if you want to improve that you should beef up that front hook eye. Great Lure just need some adjustment, All is not lost I am operating on my busted DM to see if I can send it back to war, It is to good to throw away

The quality of these lures is second to none. Calling them “well made” would be like calling the Great Barrier Reef “a decent bit of coral”.
The sheer, borderline unhinged level of creativity required to dream these things up is something to behold. Somewhere, a bloke has clearly stared into the abyss of lure design, had a yarn with Poseidon himself and emerged holding a masterpiece.
Every contour, every colour, every shimmer and wobble looks as though it was engineered to trigger an instinct older than civilisation itself. If these lures don’t tempt a fish, chances are the fish has already been caught.
I’ve seen plenty of lures over the years, but these aren’t just bits of plastic with hooks attached, they’re aquatic works of art with a criminal intent toward barramundi, trout, jacks and anything else unfortunate enough to cross their path.
You almost feel guilty throwing one in the water… almost. Then the reel starts screaming and any remaining guilt disappears faster than a cold beer at a summer barbecue

Great lures and arrives so quick!
Lure was beautiful and enticed 3-4 cod hits on a day where it was pretty quiet. Landed a small one on it but then hooked a decent one (70cmish) and split ring popped open and hook completely fell off so lost the fish and it has the bloody hook in its mouth now too.
Disappointing as this was my first time using it but I will replace hooks and split rings with some more sturdy ones and see how it goes
Brand new out of the packet hooked a 80 cm barra fought for 30seconds he managed to break the front split ring and I lost it just curious if it’s not meant for fish that size ? Or just a one of thing I happened to experience ?
For someone who doesn’t get many opportunities with big barra wasn’t to pleased

Haven't used these lures yet, but I am confident they will work great. Having recently been in the Top end I witnessed a fishing buddy using a similar fizzer type lure that had Barra boofing them at the side of the boat. I am keen to get back up there and give these bad boys a workout

This lure has great characteristics about it and performs with 100 percent every time it never disappoints.
I can't get the damn baits because yall required a signature for the post office to leave it and I don't get off work while they are open and they wouldn't leave it at the door even though I went online for re delivery and requested leave it at the door 🤷

Best topwater lure for estuary i have ever used caught a few jack up in the mangrove and some big flatties on the shallow flats
I was hoping to get a good and strong propeller kind of lure for withstanding Masheer Fish's pull. This lure was strong enough to pull a big 5lb Masheer hooked on the lure belly. Though the treble hook was bent I was still able to land the fish as two hooks were inside fish mouth.
Great lure for Barra just on and after dark, though you do need to beef the trebles up.
