Bream Lures

Bream fishing is the ultimate test of finesse and realism. From the oyster leases of the South Coast to the canal pylons of the Gold Coast, Bream are notorious for being "lure shy." Our collection is engineered to fool the most wary "Blue-nose" Bream.

Bream Lure FAQs

The "Dead-Stick" method is highly effective. Cast your Curly Prawn or Flick Prawn, let it hit the bottom, and wait. Give it a tiny twitch to move the legs, then wait again. Bream often pick the lure up while it’s stationary on the bottom.

While our TPE material is incredibly lifelike, adding a bit of scent can help in high-pressure areas. However, the anatomical accuracy of lures like the Smash Crab Jnr often provides enough visual and tactile "proof" to secure the hook-up without it.

Yes! While Bream can be finicky in clear water, dirty water makes them more aggressive. In "Chocolate" colored water, switch to high-vibration lures like the Curly Vibe 2.0. The lateral line of the Bream will pick up the vibration even if they can't see the lure clearly. Use dark, high-contrast colours like Black or Gold to create a strong silhouette.
