The Smuggler is a water blooping, rattling, walker with an incredible life-like swimming bird action. Fitted with a long trailing tail to simulate tail feathers, a matching head feather and colours to imitate the most common birds that big fish feed on. As The Smuggler walks, the wings will splash and make a very noticeable blooping noise while the wide body action will attract the attention of any nearby fish. Matched with Ultra strong BKK hooks and an extremely robust body, The Smuggler is ready for battle.

Broken wing

I got the budgee for my 13th birthday and on the second time I used it the left wing broke and came off you can’t buy replacement’wings for it so it is a total waste of money

Not as good as I thought

Casting at night at the local river and the wing came loose after 10 casts. One big hit and the wings bent right around so I had to use my pliers to bend them back. Still has great action though.

Budgie lost a wing!

Received this lure as a gift from my best mate for Xmas and unfortunately after a few casts , one of his metal wings fell off,
I had to stop using this lure and put it on my shelf as it doesn’t retrieve very well now and I am afraid I’ll lose it all together!

Great lure, fun to use, shame it’s not a bit more durable!
I would buy another but at 30ish dollars I will have to wait.
