The Ripple Cicada

Casting the cicada around early morning attracts a fair bit of attention. Walking it past lillys or on the out skirts of weed banks in the dams gets some action going. Have both sizes and both work great, liking the soft body. Best trying directly to your leader as it doesn't like a clip hanging off the front (nose down)

Have caught some of my best Australian Bass on the Chasebait Cicada.
Casting right in amongst the structure for some awesome surface action. Worth every penny.

After trying a lot of other Cicada baits that claim to be the best, have the best action, and being told all the best anglers use them. Well I have finally found a soft shell Cicada top water bait that actually lives up to its claims.
These not only look good,, they actually have a very smooth and tight action no matter when you are retrieving fast medium or relatively slow. They are also quite reasonably priced! Will be buying them again!

Good lure used it for murray cod fishing ended up catching three on it when other topwater weren't getting the bites. Awesome appearance, nice action and a smaller cod magnet. 1 simple flaw is that after catching the cicada fills with water and sinks need to squeeze out after catching. Also 65mm version please.

Still haven’t had a chance to use them yet. Unfortunately.
